Eduard Barsegian

Right after players returned from break, Eduard Barsegian moved all in for his last 50,000 from middle position, Francois-Charles Scapula reshoved in the cutoff, and the rest of the table folded.

Eduard Barsegian: A3 All in
Francois-Charles Scapula: AQ

Barsegian was dominated and fell further behind on the 8K6 flop as Scapula picked up the nut flush draw. The turn was the 10, while Scapula hit his flush on the 9 river to send Barsegian to the rail.

De La Fouchardiere Makes a Big River Call Against Bartoletti; Fazio Takes Out Huang

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Yuxi Huang
Yuxi Huang

Hugo De La Fouchardiere raised to 12,000 under the gun, Ivo Bartoletti three-bet to 30,000 in the small blind, and De La Fouchardiere called.

The flop came AKJ and Bartoletti continued for 12,000. De La Fouchardiere called, and they both checked the J turn.

The river was the K and Bartoletti bet 45,000. De La Fouchardiere took a minute before calling, and Bartoletti showed Q9 for a bluff. De La Fouchardiere turned over A5 for two pair to win the pot.

At the same time at an adjacent table, Olivier Fazio raised to 16,000 in the small blind and Yuxi Huang called in the big blind.

Fazio bet 10,000 on the J84 flop, and Huang called. The A turn was checked through, and Fazio then moved all in on the Q river.

Huang burned through multiple time banks before calling for her last 120,000 with J2, but Fazio had AJ for two pair to win the pot and send Huang to the rail.

Selvakumaran Profits Off Aissani's Agressive Sevens

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Mahersh Selvakumaran
Mahersh Selvakumaran

Mohamed Aissani opened to 15,000 under the gun. Two seats over was Mahersh Selvakumaran, who three-bet to 50,000.

Aissani slid in a four-bet to 150,000 once the action had folded back to him, after which Selvakumaran moved all in. Aissani's stack of 300,000 was covered by his opponent, and he called off for his tournament life.

Mohamed Aissani: 77 All in
Mahersh Selvakumaran: AA

The 365 flop gave Aissani some hope at cracking Selvakumaran's aces, but the 9 turn and Q river remained clean for the Dutchman. Aissani was sent out, while Selvakumaran reclaimed some of his lost chips.

De La Fouchardiere Picks Up Kings to Thin the Field

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Vasile Cimpeanu was all-in for around 70,000 from the hijack and up against Hugo De La Fouchardiere on the button.

Vasile Cimpeanu: 33 All in
Hugo De La Fouchardiere: KK

Cimpeanu was dominated by De La Fouchardiere's kings, and the QQ4A9 board only improved De La Fouchardiere to a flush to secure him the pot and send Cimpeanu to the rail.

Djenkal on Seven Figures After Gargantuan Flip

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Gael Djenkal
Gael Djenkal

Graeme Newman had opened in early position when Gael Djenkal three-bet to 35,000 in middle position. Newman responded with a four-bet to 100,000, to which Djenkal responded by five-betting all in.

Newman spent two of his time banks before he decided to put his stack of 460,000 at risk, and dropped in some calling chips.

Graeme Newman: JJ All in
Gael Djenkal: AK

Newman's jacks stayed ahead on the 928 flop and 5 turn. Much to Newman's dismay, however, Djenkal spiked an ace on the A river to lock up the gigantic pot.

Djenkal was pushed the chips as Newman wished his former tablemates good luck and headed to the payout area.
