Ferreira Short

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Rui Ferreira has had a rough level and seems to be reduced to shoving mode. He put his last 5,000 in the middle but found no callers.

Tureniec Busts to Urbanovich

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante
Dzmitry Urbanovich
Dzmitry Urbanovich

Michael Tureniec called a three-bet and spiked a set of deuces on the flop only for Dzmitry Urbanovich to get a set of aces on the river. The nine-high flop was check-raised and Tureniec bet the turn and shoved the river to hit the rail.

Urbanovich already had a massive stack in the Live Satellite yesterday and kept pushing the short stacks all around on the bubble.

Andreev Busts Soulier and Markin

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante
Fabrice Soulier is Running Bad in Deauville
Fabrice Soulier is Running Bad in Deauville

"Thanks for coming," a very frustrated Fabrice Soulier said to table neighbor Andrey Andreev after the hand was over and the Frenchman was part of a double elimination, as Leonid Markin was also busted by his fellow Russian. The board was reading {A-Spades} {J-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {10-Spades} and Andreev bet 5,000 before both short stacks moved all in and got called off.

Markin: {J-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} for two pair
Soulier: {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} for top set
Andreev: {5-Spades} {8-Spades}

The {6-Clubs} river was a brick and that shipped the pot to Andreev. Dimitar Danchev lost the remainder of his short stack and Rui Ferreira on the same table as Andreev is crippled with only a fraction of the starting stack left over.

Garcia Recovers To Win Big Pot

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Jose Carlos Garcia shoved his last 18,500 on the river of a board reading {4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

Dmitry Yurasov threw his hand away but Vasili Firsau looked him up. He didn’t look too happy to see the {q-Hearts}{j-Spades} straight of Garcia and to prove to he flung his {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} face up across the table.

"I am Gonna Win This"

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante
Artur Koren
Artur Koren

Artur Koren is sitting behind a very healthy stack of 160,000 chips and it was him that knocked out Jan-Eric Schwippert. The fellow German had raised to 900 and was called by two players before Koren clicked it to 5,025. Schwippert reraised to 12,800 and called all in for the starting stack with {A-} {K-} to see Koren take all of them with pocket aces.

"I also missplayed another hand. He trapped me. I could have had it all, but didn't have the guts on the river. But I am gonna win this, you heard it first."

We'll see about that on Saturday.

Pressure From Polito

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Three way to a flop of {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} and Josip Simunic checked from the small blind. Piotr Franczak put out a bet of 1,700 and Laurent Polito raised it to 3,700. With Simunic folding Franczak put out the call.

When the {8-Diamonds} came on the turn Franczak checked it over to Polito and he threw out a bet of 5,725. Franczak looked sceptical but after a while he gave him credit and threw the hand away.
