Geilich Sinking Fast

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Ludovic Geilich, who looks a little worse for wear, has lost another two pots to drop to 7,050.

The first one he lost was to Heinz Kamutzki again. Geilich (UTG) check-called a 2,100 turn bet from Kamutzki who was at two seats along and the board rested as {j-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{a-Spades}. Kamutzki fired anther 4,600 and Geilich check-folded.

A couple of hands later, Rain Heeringas raised to 550 from the cutoff and called after the Scotsman three-bet to 1,200 from the next seat. Both players checked the {8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{a-Hearts} flop to head to the {2-Spades} turn where Heeringas check-called 1,500. Both players checked the {7-Spades} river and Geilich mucked upon seeing Heeringas' {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

Up and Down

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Morten Mortensen was above starting stack once again and just now he bet the heads-up turn of the {6-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {3-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} for 1,000. His opponent in the small blind check-raised to 2,000 and the Dane called before seeing the {Q-Hearts} on the river. The player in the small blind quickly bet and that made Mortensen surrender just as fast.

Adeniya Busts MacIntyre

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Martins Adeniya opened to 400 from early position and Fraser MacIntyre flat-called from position position after having previously doubled up his short stack. Andrew Chen called in the big blind and the flop fell {A-} {K-Clubs} {9-Clubs}. Adeniya continued for 1,000 and only MacIntyre called, heading to the {J-Hearts} turn.

Adeniya bet 2,000 and called the little more from the shove of MacIntyre with {A-Clubs} {8-Clubs}. He needed a club as the Scotsman held the {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} and sure enough the dealer burned and turned the {5-Clubs} river.

Downstairs Again

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Mulsow vs. Mascolo

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

In a hand that took nearly 15 minutes we just saw Martin Mulsow lose a serious pot to Giulio Mascolo.

The board read out {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Diamonds} it was Mulsow who had 13,500 out in front of him while Mascolo was in the tank with 5,000 out in front.

A solid three minutes after we arrived the clock was called on Mascolo who ended up making the call with three seconds left on his final minute.

The river brought the {A-Spades} and Muslow checked to his opponent. Mascolo pondered for a bit but eventually he pushed his stack across the line for a total of 28,000. Mulsow was covered by his opponent and he smiled, sighed and shook his head as he folded his cards.

Top Full House Will Do

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante
Heinz Kamutzki
Heinz Kamutzki

On a board of {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} it was Ludovic Geilich who had checked Heinz Kamutzki. Kamutzki bet out 3,200 and Geilich thought about it for a bit.

Oleksandr Gnatenko was standing a few feet away from the table and whispered 'I had nine' to us. So now we knew for sure there was no quads to be displayed, but we were still waiting what these two fellows had.

Geilich made the call eventually, but mucked as Kamutzki showed {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}. Geilich is still up from the last time we checked on him.

Those We Have Loved

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

With such a big flight, the exits continue to come steadily ..... . In the case of Artem Metalidi, his shove with {A-Spades} {J-Spades} on the river of an ace-high board got called by Niklas Astedt with {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades} for the better kicker.

Luft in the Lead?!

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Antonio Luft opened to 525 from under the gun and received four callers to see a flop of {Q-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} {J-Clubs}. Only the first cold-caller and Luft stayed in the pot after having invested 1,800 each. The {Q-Clubs} turn saw the check-call of Luft for 2,000 and the {5-Clubs} river brought no betting action. Luft's {Q-Spades} {2-Spades} was second best to the {8-Hearts} {10-Hearts} of his opponent.

One hand later, Tamer Kamel opened to 500 and got called by Lee Taylor and Ami Barer before Luft three-bet to 1,800. Kamel and Barer called to see a {7-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} flop. All three players checked and Luft then bet the {2-Hearts} turn for 4,000 to scare off both opponents.

Two tables over, Jonathan Duhamel has taken a seat and is one of the familiar faces that jumped in late.
