The clock now tells us there are 398 players registered for Day 1b. All 398 are still in, no one has busted yet. It's mainly small pots we're seeing on the tournament floor, as might be expected from a deep stack live tournament with 90-minute levels.
The full list of players is not available yet, but Alexander Lakhov was apparently playing against a fellow Russian as they talked in their native language once the hand was over. Lakhov was trying to steal the pot with

Arriving at the river of a 
board, Max Silver bet 5,500 into a pot of 2,500 on a short-handed table. His opponent, Jussi Nevanlinna from Finland, was sent into the think-tank and eventually called. Silver turned over his 
for king-high and Nevanlinna's 
won the pot.
EPT Deauville runner up (€338,700) Dany Parlafes sat down and saw he was already down some chips. His stack had been out on the table since the start, so he had missed some blinds and antes. "Why is my stack at the table?" Parlafes asked the dealer. The dealer confirmed that every seat four was out since the start of the day.
Parlafes sat down across from Mike McDonald. The EPT Dortmund champion and PCA runner up was seen raking in a big pot for this stage of the tournament. We're unsure of the action, but after a check check on the river on a board of 
, McDonald's 
was good.

Team America members from the Global Poker Masters, Isaac Haxton and Dan smith, were in their seats from the very first hand. Another day, another dollar for the two players who experienced the disappointment of bubbling yesterday's World Cup Semi-Final.
Smith raised to 300 from under the gun and was called in two spots. The board ran out 
with all three checking to the river where Smith finally bet 800. Both opponents folded and Smith slammed open 
.
One of his opponents laughed and said he did it just for our benefit. Smith agreed and said we should write he bet all three streets.
