The board ran {6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}.

More for Igor

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Igor Kurganov has added even more to his stack after getting Galen Hall to fold his hand on the river.

Kurganov raised the button and bet three streets of a {6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{6-Spades} board, with the last two bets being 11,000 and 18,500. The river bet was too much for Hall who passed.

Stern Busts; Gruissem Over 100K

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Dani Stern was all in preflop against Philipp Gruissem and Jan Heitman before the {Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop. There was about 25,000 in the middle on the flop for the main pot and 20,000 in the side pot for Gruissem and Heitmann to fight over.

After checking the flop, Gruissem and Heitmann also checked the {5-Diamonds} turn and {J-Hearts} river. Gruissem showed the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}, which was good enough to beat Heitmann's {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} for the side pot. It was also good enough to beat Stern's {A-Spades}{K-Spades} for the main pot and eliminate him.

Cheong Over 200K

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Kyle Cheong made it 2,200 from under the gun, and Lorent Polito, winner of the EPT Barcelona €10,000 High Roller this season, called on the button. Fabian Quoss three-bet to 8,000 from the small blind, Cheong called, and Polito folded.

The flop came down {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, and Quoss bet 10,000. Cheong called, and the dealer added the {5-Spades} on the turn. Quoss led again, this time for 23,000. Cheong took his time, then called.

On the {8-Diamonds} river, Quoss checked. Cheong studied, then fired 35,500. Quoss gave it up, and Cheong won the pot.

Ivey Snap Doubles with Second Bullet

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Phil Ivey is in no mood to hang around with his second bullet, just ask Govert Metaal.

The action folded to Ivey on the button and he raised to 2,500. Metaal was in the big blind and three-bet to 7,500. Ivey paused for a minute and moved all in for 54,000. Metaal snap called causing Ivey to smile.

Metaal: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Ivey: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The board ran {5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Clubs} to make Ivey a full house. The mood at his table instantly shifted down a notch or two.
