Abel Scoops a Massive Pot, Busts Aaron Massey Before Dinner

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

We didn't see the action, but three players wound up all in on a {4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop: Aaron Massey in the small blind, the big blind and Griffin Abel on the button.

Aaron Massey: {a-}{8-}
Big blind: {10-}{10-}
Griffin Abel: {2-}{2-}

"Looks like I got some work ahead of me," said Massey, who was by far the shortest of the three.

The {4-Clubs} was a start as it left him with left outs to eights full, but the {q-Diamonds} river kept Abel's boat best. He scooped up Massey's stack and earned a full double for just under 105,000 against the big blind.

Players are now on dinner for 60 minutes.

Campbell Makes a Big Call

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With {3-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts} on the felt, a player in the hijack bet 21,000 into a pot of about 25,000. Andrew Campbell was in the tank in the cutoff and he finally opted to call. The hijack threw {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} in knowing it was no good and Campbell showed down {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

Gumila Outkicks One

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jerry Gumila bet 9,000 after one player checked on {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts} and a player in the big blind called. They went heads up to the {5-Clubs} river and Gumila bet another 10,000. His opponent splashed in 20,000 and Gumila instantly called.

The big blind showed {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for trips but Gumila had him outkicked with {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}.
