Final Four Tables Reached

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Wilson Shows Down Winner

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Dan Wilson opened to 400,000 in the cutoff, and only Danny Verheij called, defending his big blind.

On a 8K4 flop, when Verheij checked, Wilson continued for 275,000, and Verheij called.

The action checked through on both the J turn and the 2 river.

Wilson flipped over 98, for a pair of eights, and Verheij mucked his hand.

McAleenan Hero-Calls in Three-Bet Pot

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Daryl McAleenan
Daryl McAleenan

Daryl McAleenan raised to 400,000 in the cutoff. Francesco Gisolfi upped the ante to 955,000 on the button, and McAleenan called when the action had folded back to him.

McAleenan checked the 3KJ flop over to Gisolfi, who continued for 455,000. McAleenan called, after which the A turned was checked through.

McAleenan also checked the 10 river. Gisolfi took another peek at his cards before firing 900,000 into the middle. McAleenan used his final time bank, then tossed in a calling chip.

Gisolfi could only show a pair of eights with 88. McAleenan tabled K10 for two pair, and received some compliments from the table as he dragged the pot.

Furlong's Aces Go Up in Flames

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Barry Furlong
Barry Furlong

Danilo Donnini kicked the action off with a raise to 400,000 from the hijack. Barry Furlong then three-bet to 1,000,000 from the button, which only Donnini called.

The dealer spread a JKK flop, and when Donnini checked, Furlong moved all in for around 1,400,000. Donnini snap-called.

Barry Furlong: AA All in
Danilo Donnini: KQ

The flop had Furlong in a world of trouble, and when the 3 turn and 2 river offered no help, Furlong was eliminated.

Hoang Heads Home

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Tai Hoang
Tai Hoang

Tai Hoang open-shipped his 1,695,000 remaining chips in from the hijack and was looked up by Danilo Donnini in the small blind.

Tai Hoang: 109 All in
Danilo Donnini: QJ

Donnini paired up on the 6AJ flop, but it also gave Hoang a flush draw. The 6 turn did nothing for either player, and the 10 river gave Hoang a meaningless pair, securing his exit.

Ferrari Hits River

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Vincent Dynes raised to 400,000 in early position, and Manuel Ferrari called in the cutoff. The two went heads up to the 8K3 flop, where Dynes continued for 500,000.

Ferrari called, and did so again when Dynes sized up to 700,000 on the 3 turn. The A river then slowed Dynes down, as he checked it over to Ferrari. Ferrari fired a bet of 700,000, which Dynes quickly called.

Ferrari tabled A10 for a rivered pair of aces, and Dynes' cards hit the muck in defeat.

Dan Wilson
Dan Wilson

When the action got to Dan Wilson, he saw a Luca Bernardi raise ahead of him. After some consideration, Wilson moved all in for 2,100,000. There was no sweat for the former champion, as Bernardi released his cards when the action returned to him.

Ferrari Doubles Through O'Dwyer

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Manuel Ferrari
Manuel Ferrari

Battling blind versus blind, Steve O'Dwyer and Manuel Ferrari got all the chips in preflop. Ferrari's 2,720,000 was the shortest of the two stacks, and as such, it was the Italian at risk.

Manuel Ferrari: AJ All in
Steve O'Dwyer: A9

Although he didn't necessarily need it, the Q44 flop provided Ferrari with a flush draw, reducing O'Dwyer's outs.

The 7 turn and 6 river didn't connect with either player, and Ferrari scooped in a full double.
