Updated Chip Counts

Level 20 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

Aldemir Can't Catch a Break

Level 20 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

Koray Aldemir started the limping train by limping in from middle position. Three other players limped in and Daniel Rezaei raised to 85,000 from the big blind. Aldemir shoved all in for 192,000 and the action folded back to Rezaei who made the call.

Koray Aldemir: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Daniel Rezaei: {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Aldemir was in a dominating position and the flop of {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} provided Rezaei with no backdoor draws. However, the {6-Diamonds} on the turn and the {5-Clubs} on the river put a straight on the board and the two players chopped the pot.

Mandavia Eliminated by Addamo

Level 20 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

Michael Addamo raised to 28,000 and Ankush Mandavia three-bet all in for 151,000. It folded back around to Addamo who asked for a count before calling.

Michael Addamo: {j-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Ankush Mandavia: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}

There was a jack on the {6-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop and Mandavia was dead by the {q-Diamonds} turn. The river was the {7-Spades} and Addamo chips up to over 500,000.

Aces Cracked and Ha Eliminated

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Earlier on the bubble, Thai Ha was saying that he wouldn't be folding aces despite other shorter stacks existing around the tournament room.

Now with the bubble burst, Tony Miles opened to 25,000 and Ha was all in for the same amount. Uri Reichenstein was on the button and three-bet all in and Miles folded.

Thai Ha: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Uri Reichenstein: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

"GG unlucky bro," said Reichenstein before the flop. The {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop was safe for Ha. Reichenstein called for a five before the {5-Clubs} came and the river {4-Spades} improved him to a straight and eliminated Ha.

Metaal Eliminates Kuether on the Money Bubble

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

After an excruciating 90-minute money bubble, Joseph Kuether was forced all in for 8,000 as the big blind ante. At the Aria, the ante is paid before the big blind and therefore Kuether was only playing to get his 8,000 chips back. Govert Metaal raised to 28,000 in the hijack and the rest of the table folded.

Govert Metaal: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Joseph Kuether: {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

The flop came {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Kuether would need runner-runner outs in order to stay alive. The turn brought the {k-Clubs} to give Metaal a full house and Kuether was drawing dead to the {7-Diamonds} on the river.

The remaining 79 players will each be guaranteed at least $20,000 and the hand-for-hand process is now finished.

Another Double on the Bubble

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Andrey Kotelnikov was all in pre-flop from the big blind for 331,000. Jeremy Ausmus was in the small blind and had called. As the players waited for hands and other tables to finish, Frank Stepuchin offered Kotelnikov the use of his chicken wing card protector (yes, you read that correctly).

The cards were then turned over

Andrey Kotelnikov: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Jeremy Ausmus: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

The board came {8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and the chicken wing seemingly did the trick as Kotelnikov doubled to over 600,000.

Makhija Snaps with One Pair

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

In a three-bet pot, Amit Makhija and Ran Ilani were heads-up on a flop of {10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Makhija check-called a bet of 40,000 from Ilani and the {k-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Makhija checked again and Ilani announced all in. Makhija quickly called off his stack of 433,000 and the cards were tabled since the action at all other tables was complete.

Makhija turned over {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} for top pair while Ilani held {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a flush draw. The river was the {9-Hearts} and Makhija held on for a full double up on the bubble.
