The Waiting Game

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Many of the short stacks keep passing by one table in particular as they check out the action on the other tables during the hand-for-hand process. That is due to the fact that Joseph Kuether is surviving on crumbs. Kuether just folded through his blinds and is now down to just 8,000 chips. He will have six free hands if he chooses before he will be forced all in from the big blind.

Mustafov Doubles Through Chip Leader Pekarek

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Fahredin Mustafov's cards were already face up on a board of {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} against start-of-day chip leader Jeremy Pekarek.

Mustafov held {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a straight with Pekarek's cards already in the muck. Mustafov's double was for 404,000 on the river with him chipping up to over a million.

Roberts Doubles on the Bubble

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Blind on blind Lauren Roberts was all in for around 250,000 against Orpen Kisacikoglu who had already eliminated one player today.

When all other hands had been finished, Roberts showed {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} against the {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} of Kisacikoglu.

The board came {k-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} with Kisacikoglu drawing dead on the turn as Roberts doubled up.

Kisacikoglu Picks Up an Unusual Pot on the Bubble

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu opened to 36,000 from under the gun and was called by Freddy Deeb on the button. Liu Kan three-bet to 131,000 in the small blind and both Kisacikoglu and Deeb called. The flop fell {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Kan led out for a min-bet of 12,000. Kisacikoglu called and Deeb sat with a puzzled look on his face.

"How much is that?" Deeb asked before making the call as well. The turn brought the {8-Diamonds} and Kan checked this time. Kisacikoglu counted out a bet of 275,000 which got Deeb to fold but Kan called with just over 100,000 behind.

The river was the {q-Clubs} and both players knuckled the table. Kan turned over {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for a missed flush draw while Kisacikoglu held {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for a pair of jacks.

Three-Way All In Results In a Moneymaker Triple Up

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Chris Moneymaker
Chris Moneymaker

The action folded around to Mark Burford on the button who shipped all in for 176,000. Laurynas Levinskas asked for a count and then called from the small blind. Chris Moneymaker shipped all in for 195,000 from the big blind and it was an easy call for Levinskas to put two players at risk.

Chris Moneymaker: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Laurynas Levinskas: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Mark Burford: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The flop came {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Moneymaker remained in the lead as a crowd formed around the table. The turn was the {4-Spades} as 79 other players were cheering for a seven on the river. It was the {5-Diamonds} though and Moneymaker scored a triple up and eliminated Burford in the meantime.

Beresford Applies the Pressure

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Pavlovic Hristivoje opened to 26,000 in middle position and was called by Conor Beresford in the cutoff and Ray Qartomy in the big blind. The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Qartomy checked to Hristvoje who continued for 30,000. Beresford called and Qartomy check-raised to 75,000. Hristivoje folded but Beresford still made the call.

The turn was the {4-Hearts} and Qartomy slowed down with a check after the flush draw came in. Beresford took advantage and slung in a bet of 110,000. Qartomy stuck around to see the {q-Diamonds} on the river and then checked again. Beresford announced all in and Qartomy was forced to let go of his cards.

Yoon Flopped All But Dead by Kisacikoglu

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Brian Yoon came into the day with 216,000 and got it in pre-flop against Orpen Kisacikoglu.

Brian Yoon: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Orpen Kisacikoglu: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The flop {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts} gave Kisacikoglu a full house leaving Yoon drawing very thin with running straight flush outs. The turn was the {5-Spades} and the river {10-Clubs} gave Yoon a straight, but it was no good and he was eliminated.

The tournament is now hand-for-hand two off the money.

As players return for Day 3 of the 2019 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Vegas at Aria, there will be one thing on the minds of the remaining 83 hopefuls...make the money! Only four eliminations away from the bubble being burst, the action should be a grind when the cards get in the air.

At least for one player, Jeremy Pekarek, he will be happy to use and abuse the bubble pressure to add some more chips to his already massive stack. Pekarek bagged a massive chip lead after Day 2 with 2,560,000 chips coming on the heels of one massive coin flip. The next closest stack belongs to Ran Ilani with 1,742,000 and rounding out the top three is Sergio Aido with 1,590,000 and he is no stranger to winning some of these big events.

There are only a few partypoker pros still remaining in the field including Josip Simunic (970,000), Joao Simao (701,000), and Hristivoje Pavlovic (559,000). The field, in general, is still littered with notables at each and every table which means every pot will be a battle. Freddy Deeb, Ankush Mandavia, Rainer Kempe, Tom Marchese, and Jeremy Ausmus are just a few of the big stacks still remaining.

The action will get underway at 12 p.m. local time with the blinds resuming at 6,000/12,000 with a 12,000 big blind ante. The levels will be 60 minutes in length with a 15-minute break after every two levels and a 75-minute dinner break after the sixth level. There will be another 10 levels on the schedule for today with the hopes of a winner being crowned tomorrow.
