Hajiyev Gets Lucky

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Ramin Hajiyev was in the big blind against an opponent in the small blind and they got in a raising war that ended with Hajiyev calling an all-in shove of about 240,000. Hajiyev was dominated with {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} against {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} but the {8-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop put him way ahead. The {2-Hearts} turn and {7-Spades} river kept him best and the player who took the beat simply wished everyone good luck and headed on his way.

Benger Jams Up Stack

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

In a battle button versus small blind, Sven McDermott and Griffin Benger clashed. Until the {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{K-Spades} turn, a decent pot had emerged already and Benger bet 57,000, McDermott called. The {7-Hearts} came on the river and Benger moved all in.

McDermott had some 150,000 behind, gave his opponent a staredown and sent the cards into the muck.

Tardif Ships the River

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The action folded to Patrick Tardif on the button who made it 10,500 to go. Shyam Srinivasan three-bet to 42,000 from the small blind but Tardif wanted to see a flop.

The dealer fanned a flop of {k-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Srinivasan led out for 36,000. Tardif called and the {q-Diamonds} landed on the turn. Both players checked and the {8-Clubs} completed the board. Srinivasan checked again and then folded when Tardif shipped all in for 151,000.

Liu Doubles Through Rivera

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Marc Rivera raised to 11,000 and Yiming Liu three-bet all in for 72,000 from one seat over, which Rivera called after some confusion.

"All of that for nothing?" another player at the table said as Rivera tabled {A-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Liu held the {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. However, the board came {Q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs} to give Liu the nutflush.

One hand later, Liu raised to 11,000 and was called by Thiago Crema on the button and Dylan Linde in the big blind. Linde check-shoved into a 13,500 bet by Crema on the {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} flop and forced two quick folds to claim the pot.

Jozonis Doubles

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

With around 130,000 already in the pot, Tomas Jozonis checked in the small blind on {5-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. An opponent in the cutoff put him all in for 97,000 and Jozonis snap-called with {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}. He was in great shape against {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and no queen hit the river to doom him.

Drinan Eliminated

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Connor Drinan raised to 11,000 in middle position and Tracey Guice made it 30,000 in the small blind. Drinan thought awhile and shoved for around 135,000. He was met with a snap-called an {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}. The high-stakes vet turned over {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} and found no help on the community.

Sheaves Doubles Through Guy Johnson, Who Busts

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

There was a massive pot of at least 250,000 in the middle between Warren Sheaves and Guy Johnson, with both players holding out around 20,000 to get it in instantly when {7-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs} hit.

Warren Sheaves: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Guy Johnson: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The flip was still a sweat, and the {8-Hearts} and {j-Clubs} confirmed Sheaves as the victor with unimproved queens. He doubled through for nearly all of Johnson's chips, and Johnson busted the next hand.
