After losing a large portion of his stack a short time earlier, Tulasi Chenchala had Andrew Defrancesco all in as the cards were turned up.
Andrew Defrancesco: A♣K♠
Tulasi Chenchala: A♦K♥
Holding the same hand, both players saw nothing change through the A♠9♣4♠ flop. Defrancesco picked up a flush draw on the 3♠ turn, which was completed on the 8♠ river to avoid the chop and earn an unlikely double.
Day 1c has already seen the event climb past the $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. The start of Level 8 has also brought the number of entries to 200 on the day, making it the largest flight so far.
Late registration remains open until the start of Level 13 tonight, while Day 1d will be played on Saturday.

Andrew Defrancesco opened to 2,400 in middle position and Tulasi Chenchala called in the cutoff. Jimmy Born defended his big blind and the 5♠J♥6♥ flop was revealed.
Born checked and Defrancesco continued for 4,000. Both Chenchala and Born slid in the call.
Another check from Born followed the J♦ turn, with Defrancesco firing again for 11,000. Chenchala got out of the way before Born called.
The 10♣ river saw Born lead out, earning the pot before his bet of 33,000 hit the table as Defrancesco quickly folded.
Aubrey Williams raised to 1,500 from the cutoff, with Rajath Tangam calling on the button and Thomas Cullis defending his big blind.
The dealer fanned out the 5♠J♠K♣ flop, where Cullis checked. Williams continued with a bet of 1,400 and Tangam made the call. Cullis got out of the way and the 2♣ turn hit the felt.
Williams sized up to 11,500, producing a fold from Tangam to take down the pot.
