Second Pair Win for Somerville

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

Facing a raise to 700, Jason Somerville called in the big blind and checked the {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{A-Spades} flop to his opponent.

She checked also as the {2-Spades} rolled off on the turn and Somerville led out for 600. The initial raiser called, and when faced with a 1,000-chip bet from Somerville on the river of the {3-Hearts}, she called also.

Somerville tabled his {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs} and scooped the pot to move to nearly 30,000 in chips.

Skarovan's Flush Bests Boatman's Trips

Level 4 : 100/200, 50 ante

On a board of {3-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs}, John Skarovan bet out 2,500 from under the gun only to have Brandon Boatman raise to 5,600 from the button.

Skarovan took his time before calling as the {10-Spades} completed the board on the river and he checked.

Boatman bet out four 5,000-denomination chips to total 20,000 and Skarovan called for his final 16,200.

Boatman tabled his {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for trips, but it would Skarovan's {K-Spades}{5-Spades} for a rivered flush that would see him earn the double to roughly 46,000 as Boatman dropped to 55,000 in chips.

Mariano Folds River

Level 4 : 100/200, 50 ante

On a flop of {2-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, Rob Mariano bet out 800 and his opponent check-called.

A few moments passed by and Mariano added, "I got something"

Eventually Mariano folded and slipped to 22,000, but not before adding, "I had two nines."
