Dixon Holds, Busts Lekarczyk

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Rich Dixon
Rich Dixon

Rich Dixon opened for 28,000 in the hijack and immediately called the shove of Mitch Lekarczyk, who had about 165,000 on the button.

Dixon: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Lekarczyk: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

Lekarczyk didn't get exactly what he wanted but he did improve on the {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop. The {6-Hearts} and {8-Clubs} danced around him, though, and Dixon collected the pot with kings up.

Greenberg Doubles Through Tanner

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Stephen Tanner raised to 30,000 in the small blind and Ben Greenberg shoved for 114,000 in the big. Tanner opted to call with {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Greenberg rolled over {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

The {6-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Spades}{5-Hearts} board had Tanner calling for a ten but he found a worthless pair with the {q-Hearts}.

Zipprich Hits the River

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Stephen Zipprich bet 60,000 on {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades} from the small blind, and big blind Caleb Meyer called. The river was an {a-Hearts} and Zipprich checked. Meyer patted it back and Zipprich showed {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} to take it.

At other tables, Patrick Pineda and Jim Morrison busted.

Benavram Doubles Through Pineda

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Patrick Pineda opened for 18,000 early and Sam Benavram shoved for 130,000 on the button. Pineda called with {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Benavram could only musted {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. However, the {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} board gave Benavram a boat, and he faded the two possible better full houses on the river to double.

"Sorry, man," he said.

"Why sorry?" Pineda asked. "That's poker."

Zoller Can't Find a Fold

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

On a completed board of {4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, Nate Zoller bet 45,000 into about 120,000 from the big blind. Rich Dixon shoved from the button for 150,000 more. Zoller went into the tank for several minutes until someone called a clock. Finally, he pushed his chips forward.

Dixon showed {9-Spades}{6-Spades} for two pair and Zoller slapped down {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

Zoller Nails the River

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Griffin Malatino shoved for 95,000, and Nate Zoller shoved on his left for 156,000. A player behind tanked until a clock was called then folded what he said was ace-king.

Malatino: {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Zoller: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The {6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop brought nothing for Zoller but the {j-Spades} made things very interesting. A {q-Hearts} river sent the pot to Zoller's pair of queens.
