Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

There was three-way all in action preflop between Jun Kim from middle position, a player in late position and Chris Trombley from the cutoff with Kim having the most chips.

All-In Player: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Chris Trombley: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Jun Kim: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Each player held a premium hand, but Trombley held the best one and the {5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} runout secured him one full double of 99,000 plus his other opponent's starting tack.

While PokerNews is here offering live updates for the $1,100 Main Event, we’d be remiss if we didn’t tell you about some of the side events that have taken place out over the past week for the Winter Poker Classic here at Running Aces Casino.

In Event #5: $250 NLH Super Turbo, 102 runners created a $20,400 prize pool that was paid out to the top 12 players.

Among those to cash but fall short of the final table were Daryl Oppeli (10th - $428), Alan Baker (11th - $428), and Gerald Cunniff (12th - $428).

In the end, it was Loren Burbach who collected every chip in play to capture the MSPT Winter Poker Classic Trophy, along with a $6,121.
