Rodney Colson open-jammed for 13,600 from the cutoff and was looked up by the button.

Rodney Colson: {q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Both players connected with the {6-Spades}{a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop with Colson taking the lead after the {6-Diamonds} fell on the turn giving hip trip sixes.

The {3-Clubs} river was safe for Colson as it completed the board and secured his double-up.

Vang Defends and Wins

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action folded to the hijack who raised and MSPT Hall of Famer Kou Vang defended his big blind to see a {2-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop.

Vang check-called a 3,000 continuation bet from his opponent, and then did the same for 6,500 after the {5-Clubs} fell on the turn.

The {6-Clubs} river was checked by both players and Vang tabled {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} to win the pot.

Klassen Rivers Straight for Double Elimination

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

A player from middle position raised to 2,500 and found three callers which included Kitkat Klassen from the button.

The {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop was checked to the initial raiser who moved all-in for 40,500 and Klassen called. The small blind mucked their hand while the big blind called off their 30,000 stack and the three players tabled their hands.

Big Blind: {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Initial Raiser: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Kitkat Klassen: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The {10-Spades} paired the board on the turn keeping Klassen in the lead, and the {j-Spades} river completed her straight securing her the double elimination.
