Peters Pulls Ahead of Chow

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Steve O'Dwyer min-raised in the cutoff with {K-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and David Peters flatted {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} on the button. Chow Hing Yaung came along from the big blind, holding {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

The flop of {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} remained checked and Chow led out 16,000 on the {9-Hearts} turn. Only Peters called and they knuckled the {10-Clubs} river. Peters collected the 77,000 pot and eclipsed Chow in the provisional standings.

O'Dwyer Gets There to Eliminate Ying

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

David Peters opened to 11,000 with {9-Spades}{5-Spades} from under the gun. Steve O’Dwyer called in the small blind with {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Ying Jinghui was in the big blind with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and he moved all in for 101,500. Peters folded but O'Dwyer tanked through a couple of time banks before making the decision to call.

The flop was big for O'Dwyer when it came {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, giving him two pair but the {K-Diamonds} on the turn gave Ying tons of outs. The {3-Spades} on the river was not one of them so Jinghui was eliminated in 8th place, bringing players down to the unofficial final table of 7 players.

Aido Displeased With Fourth Spade

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Luc Greenwood completed in the small blind and Sergio Aido checked his options. Greenwood bet 10,000 when the {10-Spades}{J-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop rolled out and Aido raised to 36,000. Greenwood called and the {7-Spades} hit the felt. Greenwood check-called another 22,000 and the dealer turned up the {9-Spades} river.

Greenwood led out 50,000 and Aido expressed disappointment. He studied the board for a while, burned one time extension and then let his hand go.
