Kenney Eliminates Beh; Chow Eliminates Antonius

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Patrik Antonius
Patrik Antonius

While the action is unknown, Bryn Kenney was holding {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} against Kok Weng Beh's {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. The board was showing {K-}{9-}{Q-}{Q-}{X-} and Kenney had a full house against Beh's straight to eliminate him from the tournament, bringing the field down to ten players.

At the other table, Patrik Antonius was all in on a flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} against Chow Hing Yaung. Antonius was all in for a bit over 100,000 and Chow had him covered by a reasonable ammount.

Patrik Antonius: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}
Chow Hing Yaung: {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}

The board completed with the {5-Clubs} and the {6-Spades} and that would be it for Antonius as Chow's two pair held up to give him the knockout.

O'Dwyer Adds Alvarado to His List

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
JC Alvarado
JC Alvarado

According to Steve O'Dwyer, JC Alvarado opened to 11,000. Steve O'Dwyer jammed all in with a covering stack and Alvarado called putting himself at risk for about 60,000.

O'Dwyer was holding {K-}{J-} offsuit and he flopped a king to eliminate Alvarado who was holding {A-}{J-}.

With that pot, O'Dywer is now nearing 500,000 while Alvarado headed out of the tournament area with nothing to show for his efforts.

Katz Two-Outed by Jinghui

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Cary Katz
Cary Katz

Cary Katz raised to 10,000 in the cutoff, his left-hand opponent Sergio Aido three-bet to 21,000 and Ying Jinghu cold four-bet shoved out of the big blind. Katz called for his 60,000 and Aido got out of the way.

Katz peeled a higher pair with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} against {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and the {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop pushed him closer to a double. But the {J-Clubs} hit the turn and Katz stood up, slamming his fists. The {2-Hearts} river eliminated him in 13th place and the remaining players were redrawn to the final two tables.

O'Dwyer Continues to Amass Chips

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

JC Alvarado opened from the cutoff with a raise to 8,000. Steve O'Dwyer was on the button and he three-bet making it 22,000. Chow Hing Yaung called in the small blind and Alvarado called as well.

The flop was {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and action checked to O'Dwyer. He put out a bet of 20,000 and both players folded.

"Were my jacks good," Chow asked.

O'Dwyer shook his head and flashed the {A-Hearts}.

"I should've four-bet," Chow said

"I should've four-bet," Alvarado said. "I had sevens. 'Lucky Eights'"

Patrik Antonius
Patrik Antonius

Picking up the action on the {4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs} turn, Patrik Antonius was all in for 58,000, facing off against Chow Hing Yaung. Antonius was in a dream spot with {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}, having already locked the double before the river was even dealt as Chow showed only {K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. The {A-Clubs} river made things official and Antonius vaulted to 145,000 in chips.
