After defending his big blind against a button raise, a larger pot unfolded with Thomas Bellanger in the mix. The Frenchman had previously boosted his stack significantly and would do so again, this time without showdown.

With more than 80,000 in the middle to the

Manuel Bardon raised to 4,000 on the button and Fabio Gutierrez Garcia called in the small blind. David Merino Caceres then three-bet to 18,000 in the big blind and Gutierrez Garcia was the only caller.

turn. After the 
river had gone check, check, Gutierrez Garcia tabled the

During the last hand prior to the break, Alvaro Aspas Tarrazon on the button and Jose Luis Puente Ona in the small blind clashed. The former was unfortunate enough to river a straight with the

Puente Ona flipped over the
