Lionel Muggeo jammed from under the gun for 6,325,000 and was snap-called by Stefan Baczynskyj on the button. Igor Mataruga asked for a count on the initial all-in and then shipped in his superior stack from the big blind. Baczynskyj, who started the hand with 11,950,000, again made the snap-call.

The players got to their feet as the three pocket pairs were exposed. Baczynskyj was in great shape to take the overall chip lead and that is what he did as the board ran out with the to keep the aces ahead.

On the first hand after the break, Edvin Makic opened to 2,175,000 from the button, leaving just 25,000 behind. Only Igor Mataruga called from the small blind.

As expected, the last chips went into the middle on the flop.

On the feature table, Adrien Guyon opened to 1,325,000 with from the small blind and Nacho Barbero called from the small blind with his .

The flop prompted Guyon to bet 2,075,000 and was called to bring in the turn. Guyon, now with a set, checked. Barbero did the same.

The hit the river and Guyon bet 3,800,075. Barbero then went deep into the tank and then made the hero call with ace-high.
