Jose Montes

In the first few hands back from the dinner break, Mark Eddleman has been fairly active. On this hand, he was heads up with Jose Montes.

Eddleman raised to 50,000 preflop and Jose Montes reraised to 125,000. Eddleman called. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, and Eddleman checked to Montes. Montes bet 125,000, and Eddleman called. Eddleman check-called 265,000 on the {3-Spades} turn, and then he check-called 380,000 on the {9-Spades} river, {9-Spades}.

Montes turned over {a-}{k-} and took down the pot with top pair. Eddleman mucked without showing.

One More Big One Before Dinner

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

On the {J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, Joseph Skinner bet 75,000 before Mark Eddleman raised to 221,000. Matt Lapossie then took his time before he announced that he was all in for 1.098 million total. Skinner folded, and then Eddleman went into the tank. After a minute or two, he folded the {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} face up and asked Lapossie if he had a flush draw.
