"I'll Give You $20 to Show a Bluff."

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Adrian Buckley
Adrian Buckley

We found Adrian Buckley and Kane Kalas heads-up on a board of {J-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. Buckley checked the turn, Kalas bet 41,000 and Buckley called. The river came {7-Clubs}, Buckley checked and Kalas moved all in for 94,000.

Buckley went deep into the tank, he thought out loud, "What are you repping here? You don't have aces or kings...." He trailed off but then said, "This is where I don't care about the bubble."

Kalas didn't react, Buckley took some more time and finally pushed his cards towards the dealer. "I'll give you $20 if you show a bluff," Buckley said.

Kalas looked at him as if he antennae grew out of his head and confirmed that Buckley offered him $20 for a bluff. "The price isn't going up," Buckley added.

Kalas did take Buckley up on the offer and pushed his cards to the dealer.

Hale Eliminates Wang

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Mike Wang
Mike Wang

Mike Wang shipped in from the cutoff for around 85,000, and Brant Hale jammed in the small blind to chase away the big blind.

Wang: {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Hale: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Hale had a big lead with jacks, and a {7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}{q-Spades} board enabled him to dodge danger in the form of a six-outer on the turn.

Martin Pays Off Kalas

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Zach Martin checked from the big blind on a board of {4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Kane Kalas thought over a minute and then announced a bet of 37,000, nearly all of Martin's stack. Martin opted to call, and Kalas showed {k-Hearts}{9-Spades} for top pair. Martin couldn't beat it. After the hand, he said he couldn't get away from his eights.

Dejuante Alexander Eliminates Kevin Eyster

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Kevin Eyster
Kevin Eyster

We missed the action of the hand but we saw Kevin Eyster grabbing his belongings and exiting the tournament area. Dejuante Alexander was the new owner of Eyster's chips and was kind enough to play the hand back for us.

Alexander opened for 11,000, Eyster shoved for 76,000, action folded back around to Alexander and he called. Eyster held {K-Spades}{9-Spades} and Alexander held {A-Spades} {J-}. Alexander hit a jack on the flop, the board bricked for Eyster and he was eliminated.

Foxen Busted

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Alex Foxen got his last roughly 80,000 in preflop holding {6-}{6-} but ran into an opponent who had {j-}{j-}. Foxen didn't find a third six and he fist bumped his opponent and wished everyone good luck.

Perez Crosses Half Million Mark

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 400 ante
Edgar Perez
Edgar Perez

Liz Brown and Edgar Perez went to a flop of {K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, Brown bet 18,000 and Perez called. The turn came {7-Spades}, Brown bet 25,000 and Perez called again. The river came {Q-Diamonds}, Brown bet 25,000 again and Perez called a third time.

Brown tabled {K-Hearts}{J-Spades} but Perez showed her bad news with {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} and took the sizable pot.
