Tucker Doubles Through Sands

Action folded around to Danny Chamberlain who moved out a raise to 48,000 from the cutoff. The button got out of the way and David "Doc" Sands three-bet to an unknown amount from the small blind. Brad Tucker four-bet all in for his last 318,000 from the big blind and Chamberlain decided to sit this one out.

Sands called and showed {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} but was crushed by Tucker's {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}. The board came down {6-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Tucker was able to score a huge double up with his pocket jacks. He's currently sporting 712,000 in chips while Sands has fallen to 830,000.

Roger Hammack Eliminated in 22nd Place ($16,728)

Action folded to Roger Hammack's small blind and he decided to move all in for about 245,000. Bryan McMullin peered at his cards from the small blind and called.

Hammack: {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
McMullin: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

The board was of no help to Hammack and McMullin's ace-queen high was enough to secure the knockout. Hammack will take home $16,728 for his efforts this week.

Joseph Hall Eliminated in 23rd Place ($16,728)

Joseph Hall popped it up to 50,000 from the hijack only to have David "Doc" Sands three-bet to 114,000 from the small blind.

Action folded back to Hall and he four-bet all in. Sands called all in for his last 590,000 and showed the table {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} which was crushing Hall's {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

The dealer presented the two with a board of {5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Sands was able to scoop up his timely double up while Hall was left with a mere 6,000. He would bust the next hand.

Tim Cable Eliminated in 24th Place ($16,728)

Matt Newcombe opened to 50,000 from the hijack and the button got rid of his hand. Andy Robinson three-bet to 135,000 from the small blind and right next door Tim Cable four-bet shipped all in for about 620,000 total.

Newcombe quickly got out of the way and Robinson snapped him off with {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}. Cable was behind with his {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and in search of a queen.

Unfortunately for Cable, the board fell {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and he was eliminated in 24th place.

Sands Trending Downward

David "Doc" Sands opened for 48,000 from under the gun plus one and Richard Tygum called from the button. The blinds released their hands and the two were heads up to the flop of {5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}.

Sands continued out with a bet of 53,000 only to find Tygum raise him the rest of his stack. Tygum's all in was for 424,000.

"Show me if I fold?" inquired Sands.

"Sure, I'll show you if you don't fold too!" quipped Tygum in reply.

Eventually Sands mucked his hand and Tygum showed {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for top pair. Tygum is now sitting on a stack of 640,000 while Sands has fallen to 790,000.

Hall Doubles; McMullin Crippled

Joseph Hall moved all in for his last 383,000 from the button and was called by Bryan McMullin from the big blind.

Hall: {J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
McMullin: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

McMullin retained the lead on the {4-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop but suddenly fell behind when the {J-Spades} peeled off on fourth street. The {7-Hearts} completed the board and Hall's pair of jacks was good enough for a double up. McMullin, on the other hand, is now sitting on a stack of a mere 87,000.
