Dempsey Triples, Panyak Busts

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Maxim Panyak found himself all in for 7,750, James Dempsey had 10,300, and a third player had both players covered and made the call as well.

Dempsey had the best hand with {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}, which was in a race against Panyak's {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}. The button had {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

None would improve. The {2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} board proved catastrophic for Panyak, while Dempsey almost trippled up.

Out And In

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy has bought back in, while EPT Vilamoura winner Toby Lewis, and recent EPT Barcelona finalist Andrey Shatilov have been eliminated. Lewis ran with queens into kings, and is going to buy back in after the dinner break that starts in twenty minutes. We don't know for sure if Shatilov will be joining him, but we suspect so.

Meryumoglu's Top Pair and Top Kicker No Good

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Mustafa Meryumoglu opened under the gun, and received no less than four calls: the player to his immediate left, Dmitry Nemirovsky on the button, Sevket Yildiz in the small blind, and the player in the big blind.

{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Both blinds checked to Meryumoglu who continuation bet for 2,500. Both the player under the gun plus one, and Nemirovsky on the button called, both blinds folded.

The {J-Clubs} fell on the turn and Meryumoglu bet out 4,000. The player in early position raised to 9,200, and Nemirovsky folded, Meryumoglu made the call.

The river {8-Hearts} made Meryumoglu bet out 8,800 with just 10,000 behind. His opponent called, and showed a winner with {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Meryumoglu mucked his {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.
