Lau Getting More

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

Joining the action on the {4-Spades} {K-Spades} {6-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} turn, Martin Sousek check-called a bet of 3,000 by Ka Kwan Lau and then bet 5,400 on the {Q-Clubs} river. Lau called and Sousek immediately mucked his cards, the Spaniard showed him the {6-Hearts}.

Khoury Exits in Massive Pot

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante
Georges Khoury
Georges Khoury

Alexander Lakhov raised to 1,200 and called a three-bet to 3,000 by Georges Khoury. On the {J-Spades} {9-Spades} {6-Spades} flop there was no action and Khoury then bet 4,000 on the {K-Diamonds} turn. Lakhov raised to 11,000 and called the squeeze to 22,000 by Khoury.

The {8-Spades} on the river completed the board the Lebanese checked. Lakhov moved all in and Khoury called off with a set of sixes, Lakhov had pocket kings with the {K-Spades} for the second nut flush.

Hoffmann with the Four-Bet

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

In the first hand Phillip McAllister raised to 650 and was called by the player in the big blind to check through the {2-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} flop. On the {4-Hearts} turn, the player in the big blind bet 700 and took down the pot.

One hand later, McAllister called a raise to 700 and November Niner Felix Stephensen three-bet to 2,150. Manuel Hoffmann four-bet to 5,350 in the cutoff and scared off all opponents.

Telker Busts to Lakhov

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

Michael Telker already shoved all in a couple of times at the start of level five without getting called. He then got the remainder of his stack in with {J-} {10-} on the turn of a {K-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} board. Alexander Lakhov on the button had an easy call with {2-Clubs} {2-Hearts} and Telker was already drawing dead before the {9-Spades} river.

Targa With Full House

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

Stephen Chidwick raised to 825 and got called by David Peters in the small blind. Petr Targa three-bet to what looked like 2,400 and only Peters called that. The American check-called a bet of 2,250 on the {4-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} flop and both players checked the {4-Hearts} on the turn. Peters checked the {3-Hearts} on the river as well and was then sent into the think tank after Targa made it 6,050 to go.

Eventually the American called and quickly mucked when he was shown {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} by Targa.

Lakhov Doubles Through Telker

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

In the very last hand before the second break, Alexander Lakhov raised from under the gun and found one caller before Michael Telker three-bet out of the big blind. Only Lakhov called that to see the flop of {4-Spades} {6-Spades} {2-}. The Russian got his stack of 29,000 chips into the middle of the table after a raising war with Telker and the American called with pocket aces including the {A-Spades}.

Lakhov had {5-Spades} {7-Spades} for the open ended straight flush draw and improved thanks to the {K-Spades} on the turn. The river was a blank and Telker needs another short stack miracle.
