Newhouse Over Roberts

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Mark Newhouse opened the action to 125,000 from middle position. Brian Roberts called from the hijack and the rest of the table folded. The flop came down {Q-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{j-Spades} and both players checked to see the {3-Diamonds} fall on the turn. Newhouse slid out 175,000 and Roberts called to see the final card.

The {J-Clubs} paired the board on the river, prompting a check from Newhouse. Roberts checked it back and mucked his hand after seeing Newhouse's {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for aces and jacks. Newhouse took down the pot and brought his stack up to 6.935 million.
