Bender's Blunder Benefits Loube

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Razz

Steven Loube, Yarron Bender and Nam Le built a huge pot of about 15,000 and were on seventh street when we arrived.

Steven Loube: {x-}{x-}/{8-}{j-}{2-}{2-}/{x-}
Yarron Bender: {x-}{x-}/{9-}{4-}{k-}{a-}/{x-}
Nam Le: {x-}{x-}/{6-}{10-}{4-}{9-}/{x-}

Loube bet the end and Bender announced a raise. Le mucked. Loube seemed pained but called.

"Flush," announced Bender confidently, rolling over some spades and pushing them forward.

"We're playing razz, dude," Loube said, showing {a-}{3-}{6-}. "I have an eighty-six. Man, you scared the f*** out of me when you raised."

"I was playing eight-or-better!" Bender exclaimed.
