Passalacqua and Paez Chop it Up

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Kenneth Gambella: {x-}{x-}/{8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} (folded on fourth)
Richard Passalacqua: {x-}{x-}/{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}/{x-}
Raul Paez: {x-}{x-}/{3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}/{x-}

After a player brought it in, Gambella completed with the {8-Clubs}, Passalacqua called, and Paez made it two bets. Gambella and Passalacqua both called. Paez bet fourth street, and after Gambella folded, Passalazqua raised. Paez called, then check-called all remaining streets, announcing "Three kings so far," after calling on seventh.

"I got it both ways," Passalacqua said, turning over {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} for an eight-high straight and a low. Paez turned his {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, revealing that he filled up on seventh street, and the two chopped the pot.
