Tardif Takes From Cramer

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Patrick Tardif
Patrick Tardif

Patrick Tardif raised from the hijack with a dead button to 65,000 and he was called by Timothy Cramer in the big blind.

The flop was dealt {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Cramer went for the check-raise. He checked to Tardif who bet 60,000 and Cramer put in 200,000. Tardif called.

They checked it down on the {8-Clubs} turn and {4-Diamonds} river and Cramer showed {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. That wasn't enough when Tardif opened up {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} to take down the pot.

Richard Sheils Eliminated in 16th Place ($34,422)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Richard Sheils
Richard Sheils

Richard Sheils moved all in for around 500,000 from the small blind after the action had folded to him and saw fellow Brit Jamie O'Connor snap-call.

Richard Sheils: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Jamie O'Connor: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

Board: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

It was an extremely unfortunate situation for Sheils, and his luck didn't improve on the flop as O'Connor hit top set.

"Seven" said Sheils before the seven of clubs hit the turn.

"Six" he added looking for the straight on the river to survive, but it never came.

O'Connor took the pot to move up to 1,900,000 and Sheils exited in 16th place for $34,422.

Timothy Cramer looked down at his holding from the cutoff and thought for 30 seconds before placing his cards in the muck.
