Ruskiewicz Flops a Set

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

The under-the-gun player raised to 1,600, a player called from middle position, Eric Ruskiewicz called in the cutoff and the big blind came along as well.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, the big blind checked, the preflop raiser continued for 4,000 and only Ruskiewicz called.

The {4-Clubs} fell on the turn and Ruskiewicz's opponent check-called his bet of 3,000. The river was the {10-Spades} and his opponent check-called 3,000 once again. Ruskiewicz tabled {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for a flopped set of fives and his opponent mucked.

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

The player in middle position folded but Mossey still called.

The turn was the {k-Clubs} and Mossey check-called another bet of 17,200 from Paur. The river brought the {8-Hearts} and Mossey quickly checked again. Paur gave it some thought but decided to check it back. Mossey tabled {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Paur let his cards go to the muck.
