Roberts Bets Trips the Whole Way

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Brent Roberts was in the small blind and saw a flop of {8-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} against a player under the gun. Roberts bet the flop and his opponent called.

Roberts continued for 5,500 on the {a-Diamonds} turn and the under the gun player quickly called. On the {4-Hearts} river, Roberts assembled a bet of 14,000 and put it in the middle.

His opponent didn't call quickly this time but studied the board for about two minutes before calling. Roberts turned over {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for trip eights and his opponent mucked.

Jared Jaffee

The action was picked up on the turn with the board showing {6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and the player in the small blind checked.

Jared Jaffee, who was in the big blind, bet 7,600 and the small blind called after tanking briefly. The {k-Diamonds} turn was also checked by the small blind but that didn't stop Jaffee from firing again.

This time he bet 16,000 into the pot and the small blind quickly mucked.

Yun Flops Full House to Score a Double

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

The player under the gun limped. Hyunshik Yun was next to act and he raised to 1,600. He was called by Christopher Puetz on the button both the blinds and the player who limped under the gun.

The flop came {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts}. The action checked to Puetz who bet 2,300. The action folded back around to Yun and he made to call.

The turn card was the {3-Spades}. Yun check-called Puetz's bet of 5,000.

The {j-Clubs} completed the board. Yun checked once more and Puetz moved all in. Yun called off his stack putting his tournament life at risk.

Hyunshik Yun: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Christopher Puetz: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Yun flopped a full house. Unfortunately for Puetz, he rivered a worse full house. Yun doubled up.
