Edwards Eliminated But Makes it to PokerNews

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

The hand was already underway with Mark Edwards and Emmy Tran with their hands and chips in the middle of the felt.

Mark Edwards: AK All in
Emmy Tran: A10

Edwards had Tran dominated and maintained his lead when the flop dropped 5QJ. Tran was hopeful, however, as it also gave her a flush draw. The tides changed when the 6 fell on the turn completing Tran's flush. The river 6 didn't change anything sending Edwards to the rail.

While waiting for the tournament dealer for his payout slip, he asked, "Will I make it to PokerNews?" And the answer to that would be a yes.

The ace-high board of 2AQ7Q meant Petleshkov's deep run had come to an end.

Action was picked up with two players in an all-in showdown.

Alan Fidellow: 88 All in
Jared Anderson: AA

Anderson's aces held on the flop came 5K2 leaving Fidellow to hope for a miracle to stay in the tournament. But the runout 46 didn't improve his hand eliminating him in the process.
