Don't Leave, Adawi!

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Peter Dykes raised to 12,000 in early position and got a caller in Anas Adawi on the button. Big blind Samuel Ferguson, had other things in mind, and shoved all-in for a little bit more than 400,000. Dykes folded his hand but Ferguson made the call taking both players to showdown.

Adawi not hopeful with the possible results of the deal, immediately stood up, swung his backpack on his back ready to leave. The dealer dealt a K93 flop keeping Ferguson's sevens intact and making Adawi move his body sideways pushing his chair out.

The turn Q changed things as it gave Adawi a pair that beats Ferguson. He remained standing but with his bag back on the floor. The river 8 was dealt and Adawi sat back down to scoop the pot for a double up leaving Ferguson with only around 5 big blinds left.

Saucedo Wins Without Showdown

Carlos Saucedo raised to 12,000 from early position and was called by William Boucher in the small blind and Elaine Colton in the big blind.

The dealer spread a K9K flop, and all three players checked.

The turn brought the 7. Boucher led out for 15,000, and Colton called. Saucedo then re-raised to 50,000, prompting folds from both opponents.

Stankov Pays Franchi

The action was picked up on the river with Ivan Stankov in the small blind and 100,000 chips in the middle.

Stankov checked and was now facing a 160,000 chip bet from Malcolm Franchi.

The board read 722QA.

After a few minutes of deliberation, Stankov made the call to be shown AQ, and Franchi scooped in a pot of over 250,000.

On the river, Uppal checked once again and Sandretto fired 15,000, which was enough to make Uppal fold.

Yong Choe raised from under the gun to 12,000 only for Matias Ruzzi to three-bet to 30,000 from early position. Choe then four-bet to 77,000 and Ruzzi called.

The flop came A42, and both players checked and saw the 2 fall on the turn. They checked again to see the 10 drop on the river. Both players checked this down, and Choe tabled his KK to scoop the pot.

Matthew Summers raised to 15,000 in the hijack, was called by Brian Brunner from the cutoff, and then action folded to Ap Garza in the small blind. Garza decided to slide in his chip stack of 175,000 chips, and when action folded to Summers, he called.

No help for Garza as Summers flopped a set, and sent him to the rail before the river was peeled.

Laina Chips Up

Greg Collins completed the small blind. James Laina, in the big blind asked first how much Collins had behind before he checked.

The dealer showed the flop: 578. Both checked to the turn 3. Collins bet to 6,000, Laina called. The river showed a 4. The action continued to Collins, who bet 18,000, he got a reraise and instantly folded.

All the chips in the middle moved to Laina, who started to laugh and said, “We should be playing like it is a cash game”. Collins laughed and agreed.
