Ace-King No Good

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With the pot at over 100,000, the board read 7J52 and Sean An bet out for 28,000 from the big blind. John Hardie called from early position, and the J peeled off on the river.

Both players checked and An tabled AK, hoping his ace high was good, but unfortunately Hardie flipped 66 to be sent the pot.

On the very next table with the flop showing 83J and the pot at 110,000, Chris Knight and Andrew Lavender both checked. Knight checked dark before the 6 came on the turn, and Lavender checked back. The same process happened when the 7 fell on the river. Lavender flipped AxKx and thought that they both had the same hand, but no such luck as Knight tabled QQ and was pushed the pot.

Wall's Jacks Beat Dull's Queens

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Jonathan Dull raised to 10,000 from middle position and was called by Daniel Jones in the small blind. Andrew Wall then moved all in for approximately 44,000 from the big blind. Dull reraised to 135,000, and Jones folded.

Andrew Wall: JJ All in
Jonathan Dull: QQ

Wall needed some assistance from the dealer to keep his hopes alive, and the dealer obliged on the J43 flop, giving him a set. The turn 5 and river A were just what Wall needed, and he hopes to capitalize on his positive momentum.
