George Alexander: XxXx / 4x4x - folded fourth street
Brian Tate: Ax7x4x / 5x4x9x2x
George Alexander completed before Brian Tate raised. David Funkhouser made it three-bets and was called in both spots.
Tate bet on fourth street, then Funkhouser raised. Alexander folded before Tate called.
Funkhouser then called bets from fifth to seventh street.
Tate said he had a seven, and turned over his down cards to show he had 7-5-4-2-A. Funkhouser conceded the pot.
Jake Schwartz: 8x6x/3xQxAx3x/10x
Boyd Burnett: 5xAx/7xKx3x4x/10x
Boyd Burnett completed and called a raise from Jake Schwartz.
Both players checked on fourth street and Schwartz led out for a bet on fifth. Burnett raised and Schwartz re-raised all in. Burnett called and boards were run.
Burnett improved to a seven by sixth street to leave Schwartz drawing dead. Both players were dealt irrelevant tens on seventh to make Schwartz's elimination official.
Caleb Furth, known to most as Bruno, had already proven his chops on the felt before the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP). But he's taken his game to the next level this summer — or about three levels — and he might be just getting started.
The Las Vegas local won his first bracelet last year, a $265,361 score for taking down the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better event, beating out 1,277 entrants. That victory was just the start of much bigger things to come.
Jerry Wong: XxXx / 8x7xKx - folded on fifth street
David Stamm: XxXx / 3x - folded on third street
Ren Lin: XxXx / 3x5x4x
Jerry Wong completed and was called by David Stamm, before Razz "newcomer" Ren Lin raised. Only Wong called.
Wong called a bet on fourth street before folding to a bet on fifth street.
Throughout the hand, Lin kept asking the dealer if he was the player who got to act first, possibly hiding how much he knows about the game. Lin doesn't have any Razz cashes on his WSOP profile so there could be some truth in that he's not sure how the game works.
Despite this, he proclaimed "This game is too easy," before saying he was soon going to be the chip leader.
George Alexander: XxXx/6x5xAx
Aaron Kupin: XxXx/4x4x9x - folded on fifth street
Todd Ivens: XxXx/6x5xAx - folded on fifth street
Aaron Kupin called the bring-in and Todd Ivens completed. George Alexander made it three bets to go and both Kupin and Ivens called.
Kupin led out for a bet on fourth street and Ivens raised. Alexander three-bet and both Kupin and Ivens called once again.
Alexander caught an ace on fifth and led out for a bet. Kupin folded and Alexander shouted, "Don't fold, don't fold!" as Ivens laid his hand down as well — awarding the 2024 champ the pot.
George Alexander: XxXx / 2x3x2x9x - folded on sixth street
Todd Brunson: 9x5x2x / 8x4x7xQx
Brian Tate: Ax8x3x / 2x6xJxJx
Todd Brunson completed, with Brian Tate raising on his direct left. The action folded to George Alexander, who three-bet. Both opponents called.
Alexander bet on fourth and was called in both spots. Brunson then led out as the new low on fifth, and was called by Tate and Alexander. Brunson bet on sixth, with Tate just calling this time.
Brunson check-called a bet on seventh, with Tate announcing he had an eight.
Tate tabled 8-6-3-2-A, besting Brunson's 8-7-5-4-2.
Allan Le: XxXx/8x6xJx5x
Jordan Siegel: XxXx/5x8x3x3x
Jordan Siegel completed and was called by Allan Le.
Le raised a bet from Siegel on fourth street and Siegel called.
Siegel then led out for a bet on fifth after Le caught a jack and Le called.
On sixth street, Siegel paired his trey and Le bet. Siegel layed his hand down and Le, who is fresh off a victory yesterday in the $1,500 Razz, was sent the pot.
