Maruo Scores a Double

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Ignacio Sagra opened for 20,000 in cutoff and got called by Junhyoung Ki on the button. Small blind player Tasuku Maruo went beyond by going all-in for 86,000. Sagra was mulling over his actions and looked at Ki who seemed like he was going to make the call. Sagra folded and, sure enough, Ki made the call taking the players to showdown.

Tasuku Maruo: KQ All in
Junhyoung Ki: K10

Maruo was ahead. The flop paired the board with J3J. Nothing changed with the runout of 79 doubling Maruo up and leaving Ki with only 7,000 behind.

Both players made trips on the 37QQ5 runout, but it was Wilson who would prevail, with a better kicker.

Karpov's Blind All-in Falls Short of a Double Up

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Sergii Karpov under the gun went blind all-in for 32,000 even before the dealer finished shuffling the next hand. He covered his cards as the dealer dealt, seemingly praying for an ace. He then started to advise everyone to fold.

But Matheus Grazziotin in hijack went all-in taking both of them to showdown. Karpov peeled his cards one by one building excitement.

Sergii Karpov: KJ All in
Matheus Grazziotin: A4

Karpov was pretty happy with his hole cards despite being behind Grazziotin's ace-high. But he prepared his exit as the dealer fanned out the board showing 71052Q. Grazziotin graciously bid Karpov good luck as the latter left the table.

Novo Fades the River to Double

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action was on Julio Novo, who moved all in for 77,000. Ruoxiao Shi called, and everyone else got out of the way.

Julio Novo: 88 All in
Ruoxiao Shi: AQ

The flop J53 was good news for Novo, and although the 8 turn looked good, it also increased the number of his opponents' outs.

Novo managed to fade a club river, though, when the dealer revealed the 3.

The all-in stack was counted, and the full double-up was pushed in Novo's direction.
