Dehm Sends Allen Deep Into the Tank

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Scott Dehm
Scott Dehm

Daniel Allen raised to 800 in the cutoff and Scott Dehm called in the small blind. Joseph Linville then three-bet to 3,000 in the big blind and Allen called, but Dehm four-bet to 10,000. Linville folded and Allen called.

The flop came J98 and Dehm bet 12,000, sending Allen deep into the tank. "Sorry guys," he said to his tablemates after several minutes had already gone off the clock.

"I saw you double-clutch," he said to Dehm, who remained silent as Allen continued to agonize over the decision. "I'm only going to show this one. I'm not showing the other one," Allen eventually said, flashing the K and mucking.

"I had jacks. I saw him double-clutch, too," Linville said, revealing he would've flopped top set. Dehm showed them AQ as he took the pot.

Benor Wins Four Ways

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Daniel Benor opened up the action to 800 under the gun and received four callers. They were Ping Liu in early position, Gary Otake in the small blind, and Jiho Lam in the big blind.

The 7AQ flop checked through, as did the A turn. Benor finally fired out a continuation-bet for 2,200 on the 6 river. All other players folded.

Vuilleumier Gives Hauck Some Rope

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

After an early position raise to 700, Alexandre Vuilleumier called in the hijack. The player in the cutoff called too, before Harold Hauck raised on the button to 2,000.

All three of the already involved players made the call, and the four went to a flop.

The dealer fanned out a J310 flop, and when checked to, Hauck continued for 2,500. Only Vuilleumier made the call, and the dealer revealed the 10 turn.

Hauck continued to bet, this time for 5,000, which, again, Vuilleumier called.

The river K saw Hauck wave the white flag, tabling 55, which was no good versus the AJ of Vuilleumier.

Levine Wins With No Showndown

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Nicholas Rigby under the gun, Matthew Levine on the button and Shawn Daniels in the big blind checked a board of K10105, but after Daniels checked the 6 river, Rigby bet 12,000.

Levine went into the tank and called, while Daniels folded. Rigby looked around him and and mucked his cards, so Levine didn't have to reveal his hand to scoop the pot.

John Esposito was eliminated from this table a few minutes later.

No Petit Poker Here

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Arnaud Fabre raised in the hijack, Randy Barry called on the button, Andrew Murphy in the small blind called, and Rosalie Petit completed in the big blind.

Fabre fired out a bet of 1,600 when the flop came 3A4. Barry called, Murphy folded, and Petit raised to 5,000. Fabre folded, and Barry made the call.

Petit led on the turn for 6,000, and the river for 20,000 as the board ran out 10K. Barry unfazed by the signs of strength coming from Petit calmly called.

Petit tabled Q5 for a stone bluff, and Barry tabled A10 for two pair.

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

With around 12,000 in the pot on a flop of A8K, Mauricio Pais bet 3,000 from the small blind and Callum Roque called in middle position.

Pais checked the 8 turn and Roque bet 8,000. Pais called and checked again on the Q river. Roque then moved all in and Pais snap-called for 13,400.

Roque could only show 65 for a bluff, while Pais had KK for a full house to win the pot and double up.

Frutchey Takes the Family Pot

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Jeffrey Tench limped from under the gun, and Lam Loi called from early position. David Frutchey called from middle position, as did Alan Skriel from the cutoff and Michael Krescanko Jr called on the button. Kevin Gimble also defended the big blind.

The K610 flop saw action check around to Michael Krescanko Jr, who bet 1,500 on the button. Only Frutchey made the call from the big blind.

The 9 turn was checked by both to the 7 river.

Frutchey bet 3,500 and took the pot after Krescanko Jr folded.

Vaupel Smacks the Turn to Double Off Steury

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

James Vaupel and Aaron Steury were heads-up on a flop of 4109 when Vaupel got his last 26,300 in the middle from the big blind and Steury put him at risk in early position.

James Vaupel: A10 All in
Aaron Steury: 109

Vaupel had top pair, but Steury had the lead with two pair to leave Vaupel in danger of elimination. The turn, though, was the A and a collective gasp arose from the table as Vaupel spiked a higher two pair.

The river was the 4 and Vaupel doubled up.
