Jerry Lim was in the small blind and checked the 3♣10♥10♠7♥ turn over to Alessandro Pagliuso in the early position. Pagliuso bet 3,700, Angela Defoe called on the button, and Lim called as well.
The 8♠ turn saw Pagliuso size up to 11,000. Defoe tossed in a quick call, and Lim check-called after some serious thought. Pagliuso showed 7♠7♦ for a full house, leaving Defoe's 10♣9♥ and Lim's A♣10♦ in the dust.
There were roughly 38,000 chips in the pot on 3♣K♣10♠5♠2♠, Artur Martirosian who was in early position bet 40,000 on the river which was enough to put Luiz Hota Neto all for his tournament life.
After a few moments, Neto, who was on the button, picked up his cards and flicked them into the middle, tabling A♣10♣ for a pair and the nut flush draw. Martirosian slowly put his cards into the muck and picked up this 127 big blind pot.
Stephen Friedrich raised from under the gun to 800, and only John Hennigan made the call, a couple of seats to his left.
The hand then played out in a style akin to speed chess.
Friedrich continued with a bet of 1,200, which Hennigan quickly raised to 3,000. Friedrich called immediately, and the two took a turn.
As quick as a flash, Friedrich had check-called a bet of 3,700 on the 2♦ turn, before both players then checked the 8♥ river.
Friedrich turned over J♥J♦, which was enough to lay claim to the pot as Hennigan mucked his cards.
Shinichiro Hatakeyama was on the button with a raise of 2,300 in front of him as Leo Margets called in the big blind.
The flop came Q♠2♠4♣ and Hatakeyama bet 2,000. Margets called to the 5♠ turn, where Hatakeyama bet another 2,000. Margets again called.
The Q♥ fell on the river and Margets led out for 5,000. Hatakeyama quickly called and Margets showed K♦Q♦ for trips, but Hatakeyama had A♠J♠ for a flush to win the pot.
There were roughly 15,000 chips in the pot on a board of 3♥8♠J♠10♥10♠.
Michael Kuney who was under the gun bet 2,500, Mariano Molino who was on the button raised to 7,800.
Kuney took around two minutes before he made the fold.
On a board reading J♣5♦4♦ Kfir Shmuel checked his action over to Shawn Moore, who bet out for 4,500. Shmuel made the call, which brought in the 6♦ turn. Action checked through on this street, leading the dealer to put out the K♦ on the river.
Not having enough chips to size his bet properly, Shmuel placed in a single green 25,000 denomination chip, announcing "nine thousand." Moore was sent deep into the tank. After a few minutes, he looked Shmuel up and down before making the call. Shmuel, embarrassed, took a moment before flipping over 9♥9♣ for just one pair. Moore revealed that he had made an incredible call; with four diamonds on board, he held no flush, and just second pair with Q♠Q♣.
Jeffrey Tench opened to 800 from middle position and got a single call from Alan Skriel on the button.
The 10♥J♦7♣ flop saw Tench check-call Skriel's 1,100 bet.
Tench checked the A♠ turn and Skriel bet 2,300. Tench made a quick call.
A 5♦ came on the river and Tench called a 6,000 bet from Skriel.
As soon as Tench made the call, Skriel moved his cards into the muck, and Tench took the pot without any cards being shown.
Kenny Hallaert raised to 800 from middle position and was called by Joseph Shalgi in the big blind for a heads-up pot.
Both players checked on the A♠7♦J♥ flop and 3♠ turn, but Shalgi led out for 1,000 after the 9♦ filled the river.
Hallaert looked him up and Shalgi turned over 9♥8♥ for a pair of nines. Hallaert tabled 10♥10♠ for a pair of tens and was awarded the pot.
