Trips for McGowan

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Jason Osser raised to 800 from the cutoff, and only Michael McGowan called from the big blind.

McGowan check-called a bet of 1,000 on the 353 flop, before taking over the betting lead on the Q turn, with a bet of 2,800. Osser made the call.

The river came the J, and McGowan continued with a bet of 3,000. Osser called once again but soon found himself mucking his cards, unable to beat McGowan's K3.

Friedman Gets Value from Worthington-Leese

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Leo Worthington-Leese opened to 800 on the button, and only Jed Friedman made the call, defending his big blind.

Both players checked the Q62 flop, which prompted Friedman to take over the betting lead on the Q turn. A bet of 900 was his chosen sizing, and Worthinton-Leese deemed this fair, making the call.

Friedman put out another bet of 1,200 on the J river and gave Worthington-Leese the bad news after he called. Friedman's A6 was good enough to win the pot as Worthington-Leese mucked his cards.

Wirgau Doubles Up

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

With about 3,100 in the middle and four players seeing the 89K flop, action checked to Sean Jazayeri, who fired a bet of 1,500. Daniel Wirgau didn’t waste much time and shoved for his last 17,200. Orion Gallagher and Nikola Gunchev got out of the way, but Jazayeri quickly made the call.

Daniel Wirgau: K9All in
Sean Jazayeri: 108

Wirgau had flopped top two pair, while Jazayeri held a pair of eights with a flush draw and some straight possibilities.

The K on the turn gave Wirgau a full house, locking up the hand, and the A river changed nothing.

Wirgau secured the double-up and chipped back up to a healthier stack.

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

They each checked on the flop and the turn of 10.

When the 8 landed on the river, Aleandri led out with a bet of 17,000. Councell considered the call for some time before making it.

He turned over KK to win a nice-sized pot.
