Stavila Scores Double KO

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Piero Alioto began the hand with a raise to 17,000 from early position. Dan Stavila called from the button before Jared Hyman opted to jam from the small blind. This led to Alioto also putting in his whole stack and Stavila calling. Stavila had both Alioto an Hyman covered to put them both at risk.

Piero Alioto: 66All in
Jared Hyman: 88All in
Dan Stavila: AQ

Hyman was in the lead as the race began, but the flop gave Stavila more outs to draw upon as it came JKJ.

The K turn was a disappointment for Hyman and Alioto as their pairs were now counterfeited.

The 7 river improved Stavila to a flush for good measure as he scored two knockouts.

"That was gross," said Hyman as he pushed in his chair and exited the playing area.

Bohn Bops Gaulani

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Two stacks got in the middle from early positions when Rahil Gaulani shipped it, and Blake Bohn called to send them to a showdown with Gaulani at risk.

Rahil Gaulani: K9All in
Blake Bohn: 33

Bohn smacked his set on the flop when it came 463, but it came with the drawback of giving Gaulani a flush draw.

The 9 gave Gaulani a pointless pair, and the river was not the diamond Gaulani needed to stay alive as the 10 peeled off to end the hand.

Action was heads-up to the QKK27 river, where Martin Kabrhel slid out a bet of 65,000 from the big blind.

On the next hand, Steve Zolotow moved all in for 35,000, and Kabrhel called in the small blind.

Steve Zolotow: A7 All in

Kabrhel's bounty chase came up empty, as Zolotow held through the 86KK7 board to double his short stack. That did not last long, as Zolotow exited the tournament area shortly after.
