Piero Alioto began the hand with a raise to 17,000 from early position. Dan Stavila called from the button before Jared Hyman opted to jam from the small blind. This led to Alioto also putting in his whole stack and Stavila calling. Stavila had both Alioto an Hyman covered to put them both at risk.

Hyman was in the lead as the race began, but the flop gave Stavila more outs to draw upon as it came J♠K♠J♣.
The K♣ turn was a disappointment for Hyman and Alioto as their pairs were now counterfeited.
The 7♣ river improved Stavila to a flush for good measure as he scored two knockouts.
"That was gross," said Hyman as he pushed in his chair and exited the playing area.
