Hang Xu raised the bet to 25,000 from middle position. Wesley Fei, who has accumulated four extra bounty chips for the number of players he has eliminated from the tournament, called from the hijack.

The flop hit 4A3 and both players checked. Wei bet 40,000 on the turn of the Q. Xu folded.

Two hands earlier, Fei doubled up off Joseph Serock with a jack-high straight to Serock's two pair, jacks and kings.

Boyles Survives Against Gross

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

James Boyles was down to 22,000 when he jammed from the button. Jeff Gross isolated in the small blind by shoving for more to put Boyles at risk after the big blind folded.

James Boyles: QJAll in
Jeff Gross: A6

Gross stayed in the lead on the 10810 flop, but Boyles did gain more outs with a gutshot straight draw.

That straight draw changed to open-ended when the K turn hit, which also improved Boyles with flush outs to go with his straight outs.

The J river was one of the many cards Boyles needed to stay alive as he secured the double.

Aces for Gmur

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Latif Uyar opened to 10,000 in the cutoff, and Viktor Ustimov made the call on the button. Bruno Gmur then moved all in from the small blind for 69,000, and only Ustimov called.

Bruno Gmur: AA All in
Viktor Ustimov: A10

Gmur's pocket aces faced no danger on the 468KQ runout, doubling his stack through Ustimov. A few hands later, Uyar lost the rest of his chip to exit the tournament.
