2025 World Series of Poker
Ali Rabah jammed for 90,000 from under the gun and was called by Oleksandr Gnatenko on the button.
Ali Rabah: A♣J♥
Oleksandr Gnatenko: 8♥8♣
Gnatenko flopped a set on 6♦8♠4♦5♣3♦ and sent Rabah to the rail.
Hang Xu raised the bet to 25,000 from middle position. Wesley Fei, who has accumulated four extra bounty chips for the number of players he has eliminated from the tournament, called from the hijack.
The flop hit 4♠A♠3♦ and both players checked. Wei bet 40,000 on the turn of the Q♦. Xu folded.
Two hands earlier, Fei doubled up off Joseph Serock with a jack-high straight to Serock's two pair, jacks and kings.
Level: 15
Blinds: 3,000/6,000
Ante: 6,000
James Boyles was down to 22,000 when he jammed from the button. Jeff Gross isolated in the small blind by shoving for more to put Boyles at risk after the big blind folded.
James Boyles: Q♦J♥
Jeff Gross: A♠6♠
Gross stayed in the lead on the 10♥8♦10♦ flop, but Boyles did gain more outs with a gutshot straight draw.
That straight draw changed to open-ended when the K♦ turn hit, which also improved Boyles with flush outs to go with his straight outs.
The J♣ river was one of the many cards Boyles needed to stay alive as he secured the double.
Latif Uyar opened to 10,000 in the cutoff, and Viktor Ustimov made the call on the button. Bruno Gmur then moved all in from the small blind for 69,000, and only Ustimov called.
Bruno Gmur: A♠A♣
Viktor Ustimov: A♦10♦
Gmur's pocket aces faced no danger on the 4♥6♣8♠K♣Q♠ runout, doubling his stack through Ustimov. A few hands later, Uyar lost the rest of his chip to exit the tournament.
The board A♥10♠2♥5♣A♣ was already dealt with a pot around 40,000. Lawrence Brandt bet 33,000 and Javier Gomez Zapatero thought about it for some time before folding.
Netanel Stern raised to 10,000 from middle position, Oliver Weis then went all in for 19,000 and was at risk from late position. Vitalijs Zavorotnijs also went all in for 83,000 and was also at risk from the cutoff. Zavorotnijs made the call, and the players were off to see five cards.
Oliver Weis: A♦J♦
Vitalijs Zavorotnijs: A♠K♥
Netanel Stern: 3♠3♦
The board ran out 5♠Q♠A♥7♥5♣, sending Weis to the rail while adding a nice boost to Zavorotnijs's stack.
After a limp in middle position, Anton Makiievskyi shoved for 40,000 from the hijack. Xi Chen in the cutoff raised all-in for 62,000, and Ichun Chiu on the button shoved for approximately 145,000, prompting the blinds to fold.
Anton Makiievskyi: J♦J♥
Xi Chen: A♣K♥
Ichun Chiu: Q♦J♣
After a flop of 5♦3♣10♠, Chen hit top pair on the A♦ turn to take the lead. The 2♠ river completed the board and Makiievskyi was eliminated while Chen was almost tripling his stack.
