"Deuces Never Loses"

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Eric Cloutier
Eric Cloutier

Jans Arends opened to 1,300 and Maxim Panyak, who was sitting to his direct left called. Eric Cloutier moved all in for his last 10,600 and action folded around to Arends who mucked his hand. Panyak made the call and the players flipped their hands and headed to showdown.

Eric Cloutier: 22All in
Maxim Panyak: QJ

The 5K7 flop saw Panyak pick up a flush draw, but Cloutier was still ahead with his pocket deuces.

A 10 turn also brought Panyak in some more outs with the straight draw, but he missed on the K river, leaving Cloutier to get a full double up.

After the hand Cloutier was talking to his opponents at the table about the hand, thanked the dealer and remarked "Deuces never loses!"
