Broadway for Chalkiotis

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

There were over 12,000 in the middle on a flop that read QJ3 when this hand was picked up.

Emmanouil Chalkiotis led out for 3,500 from the small blind. Ignacio Sole called out of the big blind before Paul Prentiss also called from the cutoff.

The 8 turn led to a pair of checks from Chalkiotis and Sole. Prentiss opted to bet 10,000 when it got to him. Chalkiotis gave it some thought before he called, and Sole folded to trim it to a heads-up pot going into the river.

Chalkiotis took the betting lead when he chose to fire 41,000 on the A river. Prentiss took some time to ponder the hand before he made the call.

Chalkiotis showed that he rivered the nuts after he tabled K10 for a straight to take down the sizeable pot during the second to last level on Day 1b.
