Dehm was behind when the cards were flipped, and he stood from the table to watch the runout. Another player at the table said "It's always the stand-up that works", as Dehm picked up his bag and prepared himself to leave the tournament area.
He saw a nine in the window on the 7♠2♦9♠ flop which put him ahead. There was no change on the 4♣ turn or 3♦ river, and he locked up the double and was able to retake his seat. As he did so he said "Now I've wasted it!". Another player said "No it's better to be in now."
Grosshanten could afford to take the hit as he was still sitting with one of the commanding stacks at the table.
