Big Pots Passed
Martin Gerloff was in the small blind and already in a huge 50,000 pot against Jacob Steede who was sitting in late position.
The pair were looking at a 6♠3♦6♦10♥6♥ board and Gerloff had bet out 40,000. Steede tanked for over a minute before moving all in for his remaining 84,000. Garloff sat back in his chair to contemplate his decision before opting to give up his hand.
On a table just across there was a similar situation brewing as there was a pot of around 30,000 that had accumulated to get Mark Watson and Glenn Becker to the river.
The pair were looking at the A♥6♥9♠10♦9♦ board and Becker had bet 17,000 on the river and action was on Watson to either call or fold. Watson went into the tank but found a call and tabled his A♠J♥ for two pair. It wasn't enough as Becker showed his 6♠6♣ for the boat.
