Chip Counts
From under the gun, Tianle Wang raised to 175,000 and Loren Klein defended the big blind to then check-fold the 5♠5♣3♥ flop when Wang bet.
John O'Neal raised to 160,000 in the cutoff and Benjamin Morgan called on the button. The A♦K♣6♠ flop was checked to Morgan, who bet 125,000 and won the pot.
Bradley Guan then raised to 160,000 and O'Neal three-bet to 450,000 in order to win the pot uncontested.
Francisco Fragoso was stacking up a massive pot he had just won off Farid Jattin worth more than 9,000,000. According to Fragoso, Jattin had moved all in on the turn with a flush draw, and Fragoso called with two aces and held on to earn the double-up.
A few hands later, Jattin raised to 160,000 in middle position and Cade Lautenbacher three-bet to 460,000 on the button. Jattin then moved all in for 600,000, and Lautenbacher called.
Farid Jattin: K♦K♠
Cade Lautenbacher: 6♦6♠
Jattin was ahead with his kings, and the 10♣4♦2♠7♣J♥ board earned him a double-up.
Michael Stembera raised to 1,060,000 with just a few chips behind and Jacob Thibodeau three-bet jammed in the cutoff for slightly more. Stembera called.
Michael Stembera: 8♥7♥
Jacob Thibodeau: A♠K♦
The flop of A♦2♠2♥ put Thibodeau far in front as the board finished out 6♠10♣ to mark his elimination.
"Rebuy!" he joked before hitting the rail.
Blinds: 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante:
On the livestream, Soheb Porbandarwala in the hijack with K♥K♣ bet 330,000 on a flop of Q♦2♦6♠. Malcolm Trayner on the button held A♥Q♥ and raised to 750,000. Porbandarwala called.
The 5♥ turn was checked by both players, and Porbandarwala checked the J♣ river as well. Trayer bet 1,050,000. Porbandarwala snap-called and won the hand with his kings.
Matthew Salsberg was down to 275,000, which he jammed in under the gun. Benjamin Morgan then min-raised to 470,000 in the hijack, and Jose Rodriguez Zurita reshoved for 1,450,000 in the small blind. Morgan quickly folded.
Matthew Salsberg: J♠J♥
Jose Rodriguez Zurita: A♣Q♠
Rodriguez paired on the 7♦10♣A♥ flop, leaving Salsberg drawing thin. The 4♣ turn left Salsberg with just two outs, and the 7♥ river did not bring a jack, ending his Main Event.
From the big blind, Vy Nguyen led out for about 300,000 on a board of K♣J♦2♣4♥, and John O'Neal called from the cutoff.
The J♠ completed the board, prompting Nguyen to check. O'Neal jammed, and Nguyen quickly called off his remaining 850,000 or so.
O'Neal tabled A♦J♥ for trip jacks, which was enough to earn him the pot and eliminate Nguyen, who revealed Q♦J♣ for the same trips with a worse kicker.
Ihar Soika opened to 160,000 from early position and was called by Daniel Savas on the button. Xingyu Liu then squeezed to 825,000 from the big blind, which got a fold from Soika, but a back-shove from Savas for 3,530,000 total. Liu quickly called to put Savas at risk, and hands were revealed.
Daniel Savas: K♥J♥
Xingyu Liu: A♥K♦
Savas picked the wrong time to make a move, as he found himself dominated for his tournament life.
The A♦10♠7♦ flop kept Liu ahead after pairing his ace, but the Q♣ turn improved Savas to Broadway to leave Liu drawing to a chop at best.
The 3♣ river changed nothing, however, and Savas was awarded the large double-up for his bold play.
Three players went to a flop of 5♠A♣5♣ where Justin Manjares bet 215,000 from early position. Only Greg Mueller called in middle position.
Manjares checked the 6♣ turn, and Mueller bet 500,000. Manjares called, and the K♠ fell on the river. "One million," Mueller said, sliding forward two towers of green 25,000 chips, and Manjares quickly called.
Mueller showed Q♣J♣ for a flush, and Manjares flashed A♥K♣ as he mucked.
Carlos Saucedo pushed all-in for around 750,000 in the cutoff and was flat-called by Marshall Daigle in the next seat; both blinds folded.
Carlos Saucedo: A♠6♠
Marshall Daigle: A♦J♣
Daigle's jack-kicker played on the K♣8♦4♦10♥10♦ board to send Saucedo to the rail in the second level of the day.
