Fragoso Bets Big on the River, Urban Gets Testy With Sandvik

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Francisco Fragoso and David Urban went to a flop of 394 where Fragoso bet 375,000 from middle position. Urban called in the big blind.

The turn was the 4 and Fragoso bet another 675,000. Urban again called, and the 6 fell on the river.

Fragoso then slowly assembled a bet of 1,200,000 and slid it into the middle. Urban tanked for a few seconds before tablemate Espen Sandvik called the clock.

"I'm thinking for 30 seconds. Enjoy your game. Don't worry about me," Urban said to Sandvik, who was watching the Norway-England game on his phone.

The tournament official gave Urban another minute before beginning his 30-second countdown, and he allowed his time to run out, and his hand was declared dead.

"Norway, you play dirty. You look like a nice guy, but you're not a nice guy. Do you think that was a small pot?" Urban said to Sandvik.

"I am a nice guy. All I know is that the pot took 6-7 minutes," Sandvik replied.

Robert Hess

Robert Hess raised to 160,000 from early position and Romain Lewis three-bet to 435,000 from the next seat. When the action got back to him, Hess ripped it in for 2,355,000, and Lewis quickly called.

Robert Hess : AA All in
Romain Lewis: KK

It was another one of poker's ultimate coolers, with Lewis on the wrong end of it.

The 5J22Q runout brought no escape for Lewis, who had to send around a third of his stack across the table to Hess.

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Mark Tropp
Mark Tropp

With about 1,250,000 already in the pot on a completed board of J103610, Alex Faynshteyn was deep in the tank from the big blind after Mark Tropp jammed for 1,105,000 from early position.

With cameras surrounding the table, Faynshteyn was visibly on the fence. Holding only slightly more chips than Tropp, he repeatedly tried to engage him in conversation, but Tropp remained completely stoic, his eyes fixed on a point across the room.

After another minute or so, Faynshteyn finally folded.

The table immediately asked Tropp to show, and he happily obliged, windmilling K9 for a stone bluff.
