Calenzo Fades the Sweat

Kevin Calenzo opened up the action from middle position with a raise to 160,000. Robert Renaud bumped it up with a three-bet to 420,000. Action folded back around to the opener, who announced "One point nine million," cutting out the chips in front of himself. He hadn't left himself much behind, and quickly called when Renaud five-bet jammed.

Calenzo was in great shape, but Renaud picked up additional outs following the 2♣4♥Q♠ flop. The 10♥ turn brought in a bigger sweat, with Renaud improving to a flush draw, but couldn't suck out as the brick 2♦ river allowed Calenzo to secure a huge double.
