Max Neugebauer opened to 12,000 from the cutoff, which Ivan Ruban called on the button, prompting the big blind to come along as well.
The action checked to Ruban on a 6♣5♥4♥ flop, who bet 14,000. The big blind called, but Neugebauer pounced with a check-raise to 52,000. Ruban called, but this time the big blind folded.
Both players then checked the 3♠ turn, and Neugebauer checked again on the 10♠ river.
Ruban put out a bet of 90,000, which sent Neugebauer deep into the tank. After several minutes had passed, another player called the clock. As the clock ticked to zero, Neugebauer flicked a chip into the middle to call.
It was bad news as Ruban tabled his flopped set with 4♠4♦, and Neugebauer mucked his hand face down.
