Miles Doubles; Lemar Busts

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Kenneth Lemer had 65,000 in front of him from early position and faced a shove of 161,000 by Timothy Miles on the button. Lemer gave it some thought before deciding to call with less than a big blind more than Miles.

Timothy Miles: QQ All in
Kenneth Lemer: AQ

Miles was in a good spot to double up if he could fade an ace on the runout.

Miles stayed ahead through the 9108 flop and 8 turn. Lemer couldn't find any help on the 3 river and Miles secured the double-up.

Lemer was unable to spin up his short stack and has since been eliminated.

Lin Takes All of Farber's Stack

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

David Farber raised to 7,000 from the cutoff and Ren Lin three-bet to 21,000 out of the small blind. Farber called and the flop came down 396.

Lin fired a continuation-bet of 11,000, which Farber called, and the Q arrived on the turn.

Lin slowed down by checking, and after a few moments, Farber jammed for 38,000. Lin snap-called.

David Farber: 1010 All in
Ren Lin: AQ

Lin had taken the lead by pairing his queen on the turn, and only a two-outer on the river could save Farber.

It wasn't to be as the 3 completed the board, and Lin's stack climbed to over half a million, while Farber was eliminated.

Vohra's Straight Damages Ivey

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Shawn Daniels in middle position opened with 3,000 and got Phil Ivey to call on the button. Rajesh Vohra in the big blind shoved all-in for around 57,500. Daniels couldn't make the call but Ivey did, putting Vohra's tournament life on the line.

Rajesh Vohra: 77 All in
Phil Ivey: KJ

The dealer flopped 865 strengthening Vohra's hand with a straight draw and leaving Ivey to wait for one of his overcards to hit or another spade to drop to take the lead. The 9 fell, completing Vohra's draw.

The 6 didn't help Ivey at all leaving him severely limited as Vohra doubled up.
