Chih Fan opened to 5,500 under the gun and got three callers in Stephen Song on the button and the blinds, Jarod Ludeman and Matthew Salsberg.

The dealer fanned 7A3 which all four players checked. The turn came 10. After the action passed to Song, he fired 8,000, pushing both the blinds out of the pot.

Fan, after confirming the bet, went beyond and made it 24,000. After a few seconds of consideration, Song surrendered his hand and the pot to Fan.

Both players checked the J turn to bring the 2 river.

Hunichen Maxing Aggression With Big Stack

After raising several hands in a row, Chris Hunichen continued to raise, this time from under the gun to 5,000, but Vinny Lingham put up a fight from the big blind and moved all in with his smaller late registration stack of 33,000.

Hunichen announced that he could not fold this hand as it had recently won him a huge event, but then decided to play it safe and folded 97 face up. Lingham turned over A and scooped the chips.

Florian Ribouchon came in for a raise from under the gun and when it folded to Daniel Negreanu in the big blind, he commented, "Just the minimum eh, I got to," before putting in the call.

The dealer fanned out the 4A7 flop, prompting Negreanu to check. Ribouchon continued for 5,000, and Negreanu instantly responded with, "I got aces up, make it ten." Ribouchon continued with a call.

An A landed on the turn and Negreanu tossed out 10,000. Ribouchon quickly folded, but asked Negreanu to show.

Negreanu obliged and tabled 65 for just a straight draw.

Becker Flops All the Outs

With the under-the-gun player all in for a couple of big blinds, Jeremy Becker raised to 7,000 on the button. Ryuta Nakai moved all in from the big blind with a covering stack, and Becker called.

Becker found a wealth of outs on the 453 flop, and, although the Q turn was no help, the A river improved him to top pair.

As Becker pulled in the double up, his opponent under the gun vacated the table.

Quang Vu in late position shoved all-in for 13,500 and Daniel Negreanu, on the button, re-raised to 27,000 pushing the blinds out of the way. Both players headed to showdown.

The dealer fanned K45 pushing Negreanu ahead. Vu shifting in his seat watched as the turn 2 and river8 came. Vu left the table as Negreanu continued chatting with the other players.

Wade's Top Pair Eliminates Laskowitz

Tristan Wade in cutoff and Samuel Laskowitz were looking at a 3K8 beside a 33,000 pot when the A turn dropped.

Wade fired 14,000. Laskowitz, who only had around 69,000 behind, looked at his chips and slowly matched the bet.

The dealer flipped over the 8 river which got a check from Wade. Laskowitz shoved his remaining chips in and Wade instantly called.

Laskowitz turned over 109 for a busted flush draw while Wade showed AQ for top pair. Laskowitz left the table as Wade scooped the pot towards his direction.

Kihara Stays Alive

With only around 10,500 left behind, Naoya Kihara on the small blind shoved all-in after a raise from Francisco Benitez on the button. Benitez, with a significant stack in front of him, immediately made the call putting Kihara's tournament run at risk.

The flop dropped 2J2 keeping Kihara's lead with his pockets. No ace fell on the runout 103 giving Kihara a much needed double up.
